Summary

Public: Rectangular plaque, stoneware, solid white jasper with green dip and blue and white applied relief decoration depicting Aurora, Goddess of the Dawn. Private: Long rectangular medallion with chamfered corners to give elongated octagonal shape. Sage green dip on front, with white relief scene of Aurora, goddess of the dawn, in her chariot pulled by two prancing horses, cherubs flying before and behind her over the clouds. Blue relief border with white relief detail of thin guilloche with evenly spaced paterae. Octagonal gilt metal frame.
