Sydney Cove
Summary
Circular medallion, decorated in relief with classical scene of two women and one bearded man, a cornucopia at their feet and an artist's palette in one woman's hand, standing before a third woman on a rock who stretches out her hand towards them. Faint relief background of a ship to the left and a coastline to the right. Inscribed ETRURIA 1789 beneath, the whole scene contained within raised circular border, almost concealed by thick, turned, circular walnut frame.
