Private: Coffee cup, tapered footring, rising to everted rim, reeded loop handle. Transfer-printed overglaze, black, scenes of classical ruins. Ruins with Two Trees depicts classical ruins with, urns surmounting plinths, arch, distant colonnade, corinthian capital lying in foreground. Flanked by two trees. Swan on riverbank, buildings on far shore, Italian landscape, birds in sky. Ruins with Palm Tree shows central palm tree emerging from classical ruins on left riverbank. Trees to left, foreground foliage, broken fence on shore. Buildings among hills, far shore. Italiannate landscape. Enamelled overglaze black band inner rim.
