Public: Coffee cup and saucer, soft paste porcelain, ribbed loop handle, transfer-printed black overglaze, garden with lovers and statues. Private: In addition to the above 6 labels there are 3 plain paper squares attached to footring. A 4th small terracotta paper label with printed black line across it is outside footring. garden roller & bench & furniture & statue & dog & plinth & urn & balustrade & horse & trident & fountain & garden & landscape & fan Coffee cup : straight sided, gently everted rim, rising from slightly tapered footring, ribbed loop handle. Transfer-printed overglaze black, two scenes on opposite sides of cup. L'Amour depicts man and woman seated on bench, He leans to kiss her hand, she holds fan, to right low wall shields them from gardener rolling lawn, maid stands centre behind bench. Garden landscape, trees behind left and right, dog in foreground. Garden Statuary shows garden scene, ornate scrolled plinth surmounted with urn, distant balustrade and statue amongst trees. Enamelled overglaze black band inner rim. Saucer : slightly everted rim, flares from shallow footring. Transfer-printed overglaze with variation of scenes on cup. Man and woman seated on bench, he leans to kiss her hand, she holds fan, to right ornate scrolled plinth surmounted with urn, garden roller lies right foreground. Distant right balustrade with statue among trees. Maid stands centre behind bench, dog foreground. Left Neptune with trident and four horses fountain in lake, row of trees distant left, garden landscape. Bottom right of print 'RH Worcester' with anchor motif. Enamelled overglaze black band inner rim.
