Private: Dish, moulded in leaf form, rising from tapered footring, inner surface veined with partly unfurled scroll as central moulded cartouche. Smooth surface of scroll pencilled, enamelled overglaze with The Singing Lesson. Scene depicts man and woman sitting on bank to right of classical ruins with urn. Man, left, plays flute, she holds open book, birds in sky, garden landscape. pattern : The Singing Lesson
