Summary

Public: Bell-shaped coffee cup, soft paste porcelain, transfer-printed in overglaze black with bust of Frederick the Great, King of Prussia, and trophy of weapons. Private: Inverted bell-shaped coffee cup on slightly tapering footring, with everted rim and reeded loop handle. Transfer-printed in grey/black on side to left of handle with left side portrait of Frederick the Great, King of Prussia in armour, his head turned to front and his left arm raised with pointing finger. Side to right of handle printed with trophy of weapons, musical instruments and shield bearing dancing figure. Narrow black enamel band painted inside rim.
