Summary

Cream jug, pear shaped body rising to everted rim, flared footring, loop handle with indent along length, angular lip. Transfer-printed overglaze black with scene beneath lip. Man and woman, holding hands, she carries hay rake, he holds pitchfork over shoulder. Behind left tree, distant left buildings on mound, track curves to right, distant right haywain with man standing on top, cottages, smoke from chimney, centre distance church spire.
