Behind, right, cow eating hay in front of tall tree by hayrick, ladder propped up. Distant left, cow eating hay, small dog, two farm buildings among trees, birds in sky. Rural landscape. Bottom right, inscription RH monogram, R reversed, two crossed anchors, Worcester. Scene flanked by two pairs of different size and species of moths. Enamelled overglaze, black, interlaced pattern on handle.
