Summary

Public: Tea bowl and saucer with relief-moulded arabesque borders, soft paste porcelain, decorated in underglaze cobalt blue in imitation of Chinese porcelain. Private: Circular tea bowl with straight sides tapering to curved base and tapering footring. Relief-moulded arabesquing floral border to sides beneath plain band at rim, with underglaze blue painted border above footring of overlapping petals. Blue diamond diaper border inside bowl rim. Circular saucer with steep sloping sides, everted rim and tapering footring. Relief-moulded arabesquing floral pattern to sides, with underglaze blue petal border around well and diamond diaper border to rim.
